Now what does this new Porsche Targa 911 bring to the table? Well, just like the upgrades given to the other 911 vehicles, this sports car will be equipped with a PDK double-clutch gearbox and direct injection engine. And since this new line will have two trims, it’s pretty obvious that the output given by each trim will vary. The Targa 4 trim’s engine will be able to dish out 345 horsepower, while the Targa 4s trim will be able to unleash more power, coughing up 385 horsepower. Aside from a powerful engine, it will also be designed to be a four-wheel drive vehicle and will be equipped with the standard sliding glass roof.

Schumacher Endorses Ferrari California

Ferrari just can’t get enough of Michael Schumacher. Or is it Schumacher who can’t get enough of Ferrari? Either way, it seems that the two parties just can’t seem to get enough of each other. Why, you ask? Well after endorsing Ferrari’s 430 Scuderia, the legendary racer is now promoting the new Ferrari California.

So what does a legendary race car driver have to do to help promote a new Ferrari vehicle? Well, aside from having his mug taken along with the new vehicle, Schumacher also does a number of road testing to determine whether the car has passed his quality “Schumacher standards.”

And what does he have to say about the new Ferrari California after going through his rigorous tests? Well, according to him the new sports car is “very much Grand Tourer in terms of its usability and high level of interior comfort.” Not only that, he also added that the new Ferrari California is “fun to drive under any kind of conditions.”

I guess it’s no surprise why Ferrari wants Michael Schumacher to test drive its new vehicles. With glowing endorsements like these, Ferrari cars are sure to fly-off the showrooms once released.

As for speed, the Gallardo LP560-4 is able to reach the top speed of 325 km/h. It can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and accelerate to 200 km/h in just 11.8 seconds. Bentley To Unveil It’s Own Laptop

Bentley is one of the famous luxury car manufacturers in the automotive industry. It’s right up there with Mercedes-Benz. BMW, Ferrari, Porsche and Jaguar, just to name a few. Since it’s been able to establish itself as a renowned luxury car manufacturer, Bentley has decided to branch out to different endeavors. And one of the things it’s done to kick things off is to design its own laptop.

Yes, laptop. Your eyes aren’t deceiving you. Bentley has decided to create its own laptop and is planning to unveil it at the British Motor Show. Dubbed the Bentley T3, the laptop will be bundled up with a Microsoft Vista operating system, a 64-bit processor, 12 direct access keys and a 160 GB hard drive. Of course, to make sure that its new T3 laptop lives up to its “luxurious” reputation, Bentley made sure that each laptop was built by hand and is covered with a leather upholstery using cross-over hand-stitching. It also has a chrome handle similar to the door handles installed in Bentley vehicles. The inside of the laptop is made from metal and carries the same paint finish used by the company for its vehicles. And to top of its design, Bentley placed its logo on top of its leather covering. Just so every one knows that you’re carrying around its new laptop.

Porsche Releases A New Cayman S To Celebrate Its 60th Year

Normally, when you celebrate your 60^th birthday, you throw a party where you invite your whole family and friends or if you’re not the party animal type (I mean, you are 60 years old right?), you just go to a nice restaurant with your wife and kids and have a nice lunch or dinner to commemorate the event. Well, Porsche wants to do things differently. To celebrate its 60^th birthday, the company has decided to launch a new sports version of its popular Cayman S vehicles.

Now what will the new sports version of the Cayman S have that its predecessors doesn’t have? Well, Porsche has made it clear that there won’t be any type of upgrade in power. But the car will be receiving some minor tweaking, particularly for its brakes and suspension systems. It will also feature a new two-tone color scheme that’s based on the Porsche 911 GT3 and a set of sports chrono packs.

The Porsche Cayman S series is considered to be one of Porsche popular and most-awarded vehicle line. It’s been ranked as one of the Ten Best Cars by Car & Driver for 2007 and 2008, it’s won the 2006 World Performance Car of the Year award and the Top Gear 2005 Sports Car of the Year award.

Audi Plans To Launch More Cars In India

Audi, one of the prominent car manufacturers in the luxury car industry has set its sights on India. And based on the type of assault that the luxury car company is planning to do, it seems that they won’t be holding back. So what could this full scale assault be? Well, Audi is planning to release more luxury cars in India on top of what they’re currently offering in that region.

According to reports, Audi is set to release more of their luxury cars into the Indian market soon. Currently, the luxury car company is selling five of its models in the said region: the Audi A8, Audi Q7, Audi A6, Audi A4 and the Audi TT Coupe. While the list of Audi cars to be imported hasn’t been released, Audi India’s Managing Director Benoit Tiers has confirmed that one of the cars they plan to release is the Audi A3.

Aside from launching new models, Tiers has also indicated that they hope to sell about 1,000 cars in India this year, with the Audi A4 serving as the company’s flag bearer to help them accomplish the goal. Audi has also made clear that they plan to increase the showrooms they have in India to five, which will include the areas of Chennai, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Ludhiana. The company is hoping to get this done this year as well.

With Audi’s full scale assault in full swing, don’t be surprised if by the end of this year and the start of the next year, more and more people from India will be seen cruising the streets in an Audi.

Based on reports, China was able to boost the sales of both BMW and Mercedes-Benz for the first six months of this year. BMW’s sales were increased by 28 percent while Mercedes-Benz was able to score a whopping 52 percent increase in sales. This resulted in BMW selling a total of 30,325 BMW and Mini Cars while Mercedes Benz was able to sell a total of 18,000 vehicles, both imported and produced locally for them.

So what’s the reason for the two companies increase in sale and China’s improved buying power? Well, chalk it up to the country’s strong economic growth and increased individual wealth. And that comes despite the Shanghai stock market performing poorly as of late. Since it looks like this year is going to be China’s year, expect both BMW and Mercedes-Benz to roll out some more products to capitalize on this opportunity. After all, you never know up until when this lucky streak will last.

According to Jaguar, the 2010 XF-R is the company’s answer to the vehicles released by its competitors such as the BMW M5, the Audi R6 and the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. So how does Jaguar’s new ride stand out from the rest of its competition? Well, based on the specifications given by the company, the 2010 Jaguar XF-R will be sporting a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine that’s capable of producing 500 horsepower, allowing the car to go from 0 to 62 mph in just under 5 seconds. Aside from having a jacked-up engine, Jaguar’s new luxury sports car will also be equipped with an improved suspension and brake system to be able to cope up with the supercharged engine it’s packed with.
