If you’re one of the most popular football players in the world, you can’t be seen driving around town in anything less than a luxury car. So what does David Beckham of the Los Angeles Galaxy drive just to get from point A to point B? Well, that would be a 2008 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead folks.
Of course being David Beckham, your Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead should be totally different and unique (as if having one won’t make you stand out already). So to give his Drophead that distinct Beckham look, he had the wheels changed to a 24-inch custom built Savini Forged wheels, had the color of the exterior trims match with the finish of the car and had his famous number 23 placed on the car seats. Talk about wanting to stand out from the rest of the crowd.
The two-door Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead was first unveiled last January 2007 at the Detroit Motor Show with production commencing in the summer of the same year. The four-seat luxury coupe is equipped with a 6.75-liter V12 engine that allows the Phantom Drophead to swoop by unsuspecting motorists and go from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds.Source: TopSpeed
