Goodwood Festival Welcomes The 2010 Jaguar XF-R

The people attending this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed has a lot of reasons to be in a festive mood. Aside from the fact that they’ll be able to see a lot of new vehicles, they’ll be part of history since this year’s Goodwood Festival will be the event where Jaguar will finally unveil its much awaited 2010 Jaguar XF-R to the public.
A lot of people have been waiting for the release of the 2010 Jaguar XF-R. And with good reason too. According to Jaguar, the 2010 XF-R is the company’s answer to the vehicles released by its competitors such as the BMW M5, the Audi R6 and the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. So how does Jaguar’s new ride stand out from the rest of its competition? Well, based on the specifications given by the company, the 2010 Jaguar XF-R will be sporting a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine that’s capable of producing 500 horsepower, allowing the car to go from 0 to 62 mph in just under 5 seconds. Aside from having a jacked-up engine, Jaguar’s new luxury sports car will also be equipped with an improved suspension and brake system to be able to cope up with the supercharged engine it’s packed with.
Of course, aside from its supercharged engine, improved suspension and braking system, Jaguar made sure that on top of being able to perform well, it would look good too. To enhance its look, the 2010 XF-R was given a set of 20” inch all-black wheels, a black front grille and a hood that’s equipped with double air vents on each side.
So if you fancy driving around in a car that exudes both the luxury of a sedan and the ruggedness of a sports car, then be sure to keep an eye out on the 2010 Jaguar XF-R. It’s something that you definitely don’t want to miss out on.
